We believe fatherhood is more than an “every other weekend” obligation.
Fighting Every Other Weekend Fatherhood
FEOWF is a non profit organized in 2024 by founder Patrick -Spackey. Originally, FEWOF was thought up to assist single fathers in custody battles with lawyer and court fees, but it has grown to so much more during inception. we now also facilitate relationships with all fathers through western sports and lifestyle. With the assistance of rescued livestock and animals from less than favorable living conditions we provide activities for fathers to be involved with their children. We also hold events throughout the year, for fathers and families alike to spend time with each other, and sponsor young athletes in select sporting activities that require high parent involvement such as rodeo and motocross. We believe fatherhood is more than an “every other weekend” obligation.

How it all began.
At the end of 2020, founder Patrick Spackey found himself in the midst of a custody battle. Before he could even realize what was going on, he was reduced to only seeing his son every other weekend through no fault of his own. After almost a year and a fortune in lawyer fees and court costs, Patrick was awarded 50/50 custody of his son Wesson. Patrick realized that our culture and society is greatly slanted away from fathers. We are systematically excluding fathers from children’s lives. Patrick realized that something needed to be done about this, so he started FEOWF in the spring of 2024.
“The idea is just to help create stronger relationships between dads and their kids. Even if that means just simply helping them with their lawyer fees. or maybe it’s paying for a little girl’s barrel race entry fee so her and her dad can spend one more weekend at a rodeo than they normally would or organizing a fishing tournament. whatever it is, we just want dads to have the time and resources to spend more time with their kids.” Patrick says. “Go walk through any prison in the world and ask the inmates how many of them know their fathers and come back and tell me there’s not a correlation there. we have the opportunity to change our community, just simply by helping dads be involved with their kids. I just want dads to have the same relationships with their kids that I do with my son.”
